Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Rules Chairman Dick Durbin proposed the following language be added to the Tournament Scheduling rule:
"For tournaments scheduled on large lakes such as Lake Seminole or Lake Eufaula, the Club may elect to allow competitors to launch from ramps other than the location of the weigh-in. That determination shall be made at the meeting on the Tuesday before the tournament and must be approved by a majority of the members competing in the tournament. Competitors launching from ramps other than the weigh-in ramp will be allowed to arrive at the weigh-in location fifteen minutes after the scheduled ending time."
The rule change was approved by the members.
Tournament Director Kevin Copland presented a proposed 2023 tournament schedule which was approved with one change. The 2023 Tournament Schedule is:
February 17, 18 and 19 Apalachicola River at Bay City Lodge (dated was later corrected to Feb 24, 25 and 26)
March 18 or 19 Lake Seminole at Sneads Park
April 21, 22 and 23 West Point Lake (Launch point TBD)
May 5, 6, and 7 Classic at Lake Kissimmee at Camp Mack
May 20 or 21 Lake Talquin at Luther Hall Landng
June 17 or 18 Lake Seminole at Sneads Park
July 22 or 23 Lake Talquin at Williams Landing
August 19 or 20 Apalachicola River at Chattahoochee
September 22, 23, and 24 Lake Eufaula at Georgetown, GA
October 21 or 22 Lake Seminole at Sneads Park
November 5 Top Ten (location TBD)
