Minutes of Tallahassee Bass Anglers Meeting
August 4, 2015

Meeting called to order by President Dick Durbin at 7:30 PM
The minutes from the June 21, 2015 meeting were approved as posted on the club website (motion to approve Dallas Johnson, 2nd Les Shope)
Treasurer’s report was presented by Treasurer John Rudolph. Treasurer’s report was approved (motion to approve Billy Owens, 2nd John Vickers)

New Business:
Introduction of guests: Cody Rowan and his friend Reuben attended the meeting. Cody plans to pledge the club and will be sponsored by John Vickers. Cody works with John at Bass Pro Shops.
Dick mentioned that the FWC has been checking and writing tickets for fire extinguishers and readily accessible throwables on Lake Jackson. Dick provided a print out of the appropriate regulations.
Three pledges, Whit Tedder, Mike Ray, and Bobby Yakin, were up for voting for full membership. Each was voted on and welcomed into the club successfully.
Tournament director Les Shope reviewed the results for the Lake Talquin tournament.
-41 fish were caught
-16 out of 21 fisherman caught fish
-3 fish over 7lbs were caught
-only 3 limits of fish were caught
-3rd place was Mary Spears, 2nd was Dallas Johnson, 1st place was John Vickers
Les Shope held a vote on the location and time of the next tournament on Lake Jackson as he needs to acquire permits.
Voting was conducted and it was decided that we would be fishing Lake Jackson from Sunset Landing from 6PM to 2AM.
Dollar Pot was won by Doug Willard.
