Minutes of Tallahassee Bass Anglers Meeting
February 21, 2017
Attendance: Rick Johnson, Mike Thomas, John Vickers, John Beal, Dick Durbin, Dallas Johnson, Marty Spears, Les Shope, Billy Owens, John Rudolph, John Waugh, Chris Edrington, and Pete Narezo
Meeting called to order by President Les Shope at 7:35 PM.
Meeting Agenda was presented and approved (1st Marty Spears, 2nd Dick Durbin)
There were not enough members present on February 7th to have an official meeting.
Financial report was reported as follows by Treasurer Chris Edrington
Cash: $223.33

Financial report was approved (Motion to approve 1st John Rudolph, 2nd John Vickers)
New Business:
Mike Thomas presented/proposed a new rule concerning the use of life jackets and kill switches when boats are on plane. The rule would also require that members possess liability insurance on their boats. It was discussed and decided that random boat checks would be instituted at the discretion of the tournament director. Present club members were given copies of the rule. Motion was made by Mike Thomas and a second was given by John Vickers. Motion was passed by club vote.
A discussion was held concerning the passing of Rodger Timmons and any known plans for a memorial service. No members had any further information.
Mike Thomas brought up the possibility of room difficulties in Apalachicola in September. He will discuss this further with Bay City while there for the February tournament.
Dollar Pot was won by Dallas Johnson
Draw was held for the Apalachicola tournament.
