Minutes of Tallahassee Bass Anglers Meeting
January 17, 2017
Attendance: Chris Edrington, Kevin Copland, Bryce Harvey, Dick Durbin, Dallas Johnson, Bobby Yakin, Billy Owens, Mike Thomas, John Vickers, Marty Spears, Les Shope, Rick Johnson, John Beal, Pete Narezo, Chad McDonald
Meeting called to order by President Les Shope at 7:32 PM.
Meeting Agenda was presented and approved (1st Mike Thomas, 2nd Billy Owens)
Minutes were approved from the last meeting were approved (1st Dick Durbin, 2nd Bryce Harvey)
Financial report was reported as follows by Treasurer Chris Edrington
Cash: $123.33
Bank: $2941.05
Accounts receivable: $176.20

Total: $1153.77
Financial report was approved (Motion to approve 1st Billy Owens, 2nd John Vickers)
New Business:
Introduction of guest: Dale Shelton, married, originally from St. Pete. Spent several years at FSU before moving to Jacksonville for law school. Has moved back to Tallahassee to work as an attorney.
Les Shope mentioned that he had be contacted by the Guardian Ad Litem Foundation about possibly sponsoring a charity tournament for them. The club discussed the possibility; but, no decisions could be made without more information. Marty Spears did mention that this may something that the FSU bass club may be interested in as they are required to complete community service to remain a FSU sponsored club. Les noted that he would contact Guardian Ad Litem to discuss with them further.
Les questioned if anyone knew when the new ramp on Lake Jackson might open. Billy Owens said that he had discussed the plans with some of the workers he was told that it may be ready in approximately 2 months.
Mike Thomas again reviewed the plans for the classic at the St Johns River. Mike supplied everyone a map of the location. It was decided the tournament would be set up on Friday night of the classic.
Dollar Pot was drawn and won by John Vickers.
Next meeting, February 7th at Smashburger.
