Minutes of Tallahassee Bass Anglers Meeting
January 3, 2017
Attendance: Dallas Johnson, Rick Johnson, Mike Thomas, Billy Owens, John Waugh, Kevin Copland, Bobby Yakin, John Vickers, Marty Spears, Pete Narezo, Les Shope, Chris Edrington
Meeting called to order by President Les Shope at 7:32 PM.
Meeting Agenda was presented and approved (1st John Vickers, 2nd Marty Spears)
Minutes were approved from the last meeting were approved (1st Mike Thomas, 2nd Dallas Johnson)
Financial report was reported as follows by Treasurer Chris Edrington

New Business:
Introduction of guest: Chad McDonald, Chad moved from Montana; but, has lived various places. He has fishing experience with several different species. Fairly new to the area.
Mike Thomas presented the 2017 tournament schedule as previously discussed and sent out by email. The schedule was approved with a motion to approve 1st John Vickers, 2nd Rick Johnson. Mike will send out the tournament schedule to members again following the meeting.
Mike did mention that the September tournament for Apalachicola may have to be moved from Bay City as they could not guarantee us rooms. Mike has made tentative reservations at Sportsman’s Lodge in Eastpoint just in case. He will discuss this further with Bay City when we go in February.
Mike Thomas again reviewed the plans for the classic in January. A trailer has been rented at Rivers Edge RV park for $165/night plus tax. Mike has also reserved a bunk house for approximately $100/night plus tax. So far, there have been 8 commitments to attend.
Dollar Pot was drawn and won by Kevin Copland.
