Minutes of Tallahassee Bass Anglers Meeting
July 5, 2016
Meeting called to order at 7:30 p.m.
Attendance: Les Shope, Billy Owens, John Vickers, Mike Thomas, Dallas Johnson, Lou Comer, Chris Edrington, Bobby Yakin, Dick Durbin, John Waugh, and Richard Lollie (guest).

Chris Edrington presented the Treasurer’s report:

Richard Lollie announced that he was going to pledge to join the club.
Lou Comer announced that, due to health considerations, he will no longer be able to fish with the club. John Vickers stated that since Lou’s dues are paid through the end of the year he will be considered to be on inactive status.
No quorum was present to vote on Brent Zapata’s membership. It will be brought up at the next meeting.
Mike Thomas pointed out that we had a nearly 25 percent mortality rate at our June tournament on Lake Talquin. He proposed that we go to a 3 fish limit for our June, July, and August tournaments and that we fish no later than 3 p.m. It was proposed that we try this for the July and August tournaments this year as a test. Dallas asked that the matter be voted on at the next meeting when we had a larger representation of the club membership.
The club voted to fish our July 23, 2016 tournament on Lake Seminole out of Sneads Park with weigh-in at 2 p.m.
Mike Thomas reviewed the results of the June tournament and the AOY standings.
Les Shope won the dollar pot.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:10 p.m.
