Minutes of Tallahassee Bass Anglers Meeting
June 2, 2015
Attendance: John Rudolph, Chris Edrington, Dallas Johnson, Billy Owens, Les Shope, Mike Thomas, Don Gainey, Bobby Yakin, Bryce Harvey, Dick Durbin, Rick Johnson, John Vickers
Meeting called to order by President Dick Durbin at 7:30 PM
The minutes from the May 19, 2015 meeting were approved as posted on the club website (motion to approve Mike Thomas, 2nd John Vickers)
Treasurer’s report was presented by Treasurer John Rudolph.
Cash: $249.84
Bank: $2555.98
Credits: $1766.89
Total: $1038.93
It was noted that Billy Owen’s balance showed -$15.00 when in actuality Billy paid in full the last meeting. Treasurer Rudolph will make this amendment.

New Business:
Introduction of guest Drew Crenshaw. Drew noted in grew up in Wildwood, FL fishing the Harris Chain of Lakes. He is currently a student at TCC and will be going to FSU in the fall. Drew currently fishes from a kayak.
Wayne Bennett had fulfilled his obligations to be voted into membership. A vote was held (along with 2 proxies) and Wayne Bennett was approved for membership.
Bryce Harvey asked for a tournament exception from the club. Bryce has purchased a boat that he would like to use for local tournaments. He fears his livewell is not big enough to hold two limits of fish. He requests that he be allowed to fish alone during the tournaments he chooses to use his own boat as to not endanger a partner’s fish. The club (motion John Vickers, 2nd Les Shope) voted to allow this exception to Bryce with the following stipulations:

Bryce must make his status known before the draw for the tournament. He may either choose to go boat and fish alone or go “no boat” and must fish with whomever he draws.

Tournament Director Shope reminded everyone that he will make the determination of “safe daylight” for blast off of every tournament.
The next tournament will take place on Lake Seminole. A vote was held on location and times of this tournament so Tournament Director Shope could secure permits if necessary.
The club voted and determined that the tournament will be held from Seminole Lodge, meaning permits will be needed, from safe daylight until 4PM.
The dollar pot was drawn and won by Chris Edrington.
President Dick Durbin announced that FWC will be present at the next meeting giving a presentation.
