Minutes of Tallahassee Bass Anglers Meeting
March 7, 2017
Attendance: Dallas Johnson, Rick Johnson, John Vickers, Marty Spears, Mike Thomas, Billy Owens, Les Shope, John Waugh, Dick Durbin, Chris Edrington, Brian Crow
Meeting called to order by President Les Shope at 7:34 PM.
Meeting Agenda was presented and approved (1st Mike Thomas, 2nd Dick Durbin)
Minutes were approved from the last meeting were approved (1st Dick Durbin, 2nd John Vickers)
Financial report was reported as follows by Treasurer Chris Edrington

New Business:
The Apalachicola tournament was reviewed.

Mike Thomas reviewed the kill switch, PFD, and boat insurance rule. He mentioned that he is keeping a spreadsheet as he checks participants at the tournaments.
A vote was held and it was approved to purchase new weigh in bags as the current bags are leaking. (1st Dallas Johnson, 2nd Marty Spears)
Brian Crow is up for membership vote; however, we did not have 70% of membership present to vote. This was tabled for the next meeting.
Lake Jackson was reviewed by Mike Thomas. A vote was held on the tournament day and time as Mike has to acquire permits. It was decided to hold the tournament on Sunday, March 26th from safe daylight until 4PM as there are multiple tournaments going out of Sunset landing on that Saturday.
Dollar Pot was drawn and won by Dick Durbin.
Next meeting, March 21st at Smashburger.
