Minutes of Tallahassee Bass Anglers Meeting
October 20, 2015
Attendance: Lee Huszagh, Les Shope, Dick Durbin, Billy Owens, Mike Thomas, John Rudolph, Dallas Johnson, Rick Johnson, John Vickers, Drew Crenshaw, John Beal, Chris Edrington, Mike Ray, Kevin Copland, Bobby Yakin
Meeting called to order by President Dick Durbin at 7:30 PM.
The minutes from the September 15, 2015 meeting were approved as posted on the club website (motion to approve John Rudolph, 2nd John Vickers). Minutes were approved at this meeting as there was no official meeting on 10/6/15 due to lack of membership present.
Treasurer’s report was reported as follows by John Rudolph
Cash: $548.84
Bank: $2086.00
Credits: $1608.46
Total: $1026.38
Treasurer’s report was approved (Motion to approve John Vickers, 2nd Dallas Johnson) Mr. Rudolph mentioned that treasurer’s report includes deductions for the Lake Blackshear trip.
New Business:
Doug Willard has met the club requirement to be voted on as a member. Doug was successfully voted in by membership.
Election of officers…With two proxy votes from Marty Spears and Van Sutton, enough membership was present to elect the officers for next year. The following members were successfully voted into office:
Les Shope, President
Marty Spears, Vice-President
Mike Thomas, Tournament Director
Billy Owens, Entertainment Chairman
Chris Edrington, Treasurer
John Vickers, Rules Chairman, and Rick Johnson, Secretary, will continue their duties until the end of next year.
Dollar Pot was won by Dallas Johnson.
Tournament Director Les Shope discussed the upcoming Lake Blackshear tournament. Tournament will be held from Georgia Veterans Memorial State Park from safe daylight until 3PM on Sunday the 25th of October.
It was decided to allow John Vickers to go out last and fish alone as he is unsure he will be unable to fish a full day due to injury.
The draw was held with the following results:

Tournament Director Shope reminded everyone that Lake Blackshear is a 14 inch minimum size limit.
TD Shope collected money from those interested in the big fish pot.
The top ten tournament was discussed briefly and will be addressed further following Sunday’s tournament.
Drew Crenshaw announced that he will be withdrawing his membership as he is relocating to the Orlando area to attend UCF.
