Minutes of Tallahassee Bass Anglers Meeting
September 6, 2016
Attendance: Marty Spears, Les Shope, Dallas Johnson, Mike Thomas, John Vickers, Dick Durbin, Chris Edrington, Rick Johnson, John Rudolph, Pete Narezo (g), Pedro Narezo (g), John Beal
Meeting called to order by President Les Shope at 7:36 PM.
Meeting Agenda was presented and approved (1st John Vickers, 2nd Mike Thomas)
Minutes of from the 8/16/16 meeting were approved as posted (1st John Vickers, 2nd Marty Spears)
Financial report was reported as follows by Treasurer Chris Edrington

New Business:
Introduction of guests: Pete and Pedro Narezo are interested in pledging the club. They met Les Shope while fishing Lake Iamonia.
Mike Thomas requested an exemption from the Lake Eufaula draw as his son-in-law wished to drive down from Atlanta and fish with him. This exemption was voted on and passed with a 1st from John Rudolph and 2nd from Dick Durbin.
Mike Thomas reviewed the Lake Talquin tournament.

Mike Thomas noted he needs to know about hotel rooms for Lake Eufaula to ensure we have the appropriate amount of rooms.
Mike also reminded everyone that the limit on largemouth is 14 inches and the limit for the club and spotted bass would be 12 inches.
The FWC study livewell study was brought up. The results are not yet known; but, we hope to get word from FWC when the results are compiled.
Several members shared their favorite Don Gainey stories. John Vickers made a motion to make Mr. Gainey an honorary member of the Tallahassee Bass Anglers. This motion received a second from Dallas Johnson. The club voted to Don Gainey as an honorary member.
Dollar Pot was won by John Beal.
Reminder that Lake Eufaula tournament would most likely be held Sunday, Sept. 25th.
Marty Spears mentioned that he has rented a house on Lake Eufaula and would like the club to consider a social gathering/cookout on Saturday evening. This will be discussed further at the next meeting.
